The Sam Houston Goat Association is a non profit organization that was established in 2005.  The organization is dedicated to the promotion and education of the goat industry including breeders, FFA and 4-H students and parents.  Membership is not limited by size of herd, breed of goats, or location of residency.  You will find that our members have current and reliable knowledge in the goat industry.  Some of our meeting topics include marketing, nutrition, grooming, showing, working, and goat illness.  Our meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Montgomery County Extension office located at 9020 F.M. 1484 (Airport Rd.), Conroe, Texas.  We invite everyone to become a member of SHGA, whether you are new at raising goats or a specialist.
